Two Colorful Bizen Shishi-eared Guinomi by Abe Anjin--One Available
Veteran artist Abe Anjin is not your ordinary Bizen potter, he's gone beyond that on many levels, mastering Old Bizen techniques and bringing Bizen into a colorful new world. I will admit at times a bit over the top for his colors and designs, yet when it works it works with his added colors hereto unseen for Bizen. Here are two of our favorite saishoku--colorful--Abe creations in this scheme, his very unique shishi-eared guinomi with rich 'clay flavor,' gold and glassy red. Each in perfect condition, 4cm.tallx12.5x8, stamped on base. .
