Aka-e(Red Painting) Guinomi by Fujimoto Yoshimichi
Have you ever heard of the 'Phantom' Dinner set? If not, then read about it on www.e-yakimono.net. It was made by the late Living National Treasure Fujimoto Yoshimichi(1919-1992) who was a master with the brush. Here we offer from our Tokyo Collection a rare Fujimoto aka-e guinomi; notice the lightness and fluidity in the brush paintings, very much in the same league as Kawai, Hamada and Tomimoto. In perfect condition with a signed box, 4.3cm.tall and 6.8cm.wide, stamped in base, where fine 'clay flavor' and a strong kodai are also seen.
