Here is a rare Ajiki Bizen chawan, rare in the fact it was fired in Kakurezaki Ryuichi's kiln. The high-footed form is not usually associated with Bizen, more a Hagi shape, yet Ajiki has little use for definitions or barriers. The chawan was placed in a choice spot in the kiln and thus has a fantastic black goma on the front and a delicious golden goma pool. Ajiki added a small gold embellishment to the lip. In perfect condition with a signed box, 8.8cm.tall and 14.5cm.wide. Other chawan are previews and additional photos upon request.
