Nezumi Shino Bowl by Honami Kosen
Honami Kosen(1900-deceased) was a direct descendant of Honami Koetsu(1558-1637) and a 15th generation potter. He was associated with Iemoto of major tea schools and fired Raku, Shino, and Oribe chadogu---Tea utensils. Here is a classic nezumi-Shino deep serving bowl that stands on three feet. It can be used to serve tea sweets, food, for flowers, or as seen it looks quite handsome as is. In perfect condition with a signed box, 8.0cm.tall and 24.0cm.across.
