Mihara Ken Eight-Legged Vessel
One of the more intriguing vessels in Mihara's current exhibition---it stands on eight legs and creates an interesting effect as light passes through the slats. The interior is quite smooth and has eight moon-disks gracing the inner lip. We had flowers in it and the balance was quite beautiful---also a fine ceramic sculpture as is. Two of the works in the current exhibition will be included in the inaugural exhibition this October for the Gifu Modern Ceramic Art Museum.
