Tsubo / Ki-Seto / Hori Ichiro
Ki-Seto Tsubo by Hori Ichiro
Some works have such a strong presence one has to step back----spirit is alive in such works. Most of that spirit comes from the artist yet for works fired in a wood-burning kiln there is something beyond calculation. There is a magical interplay between the potter and life's energy. For modern Ki-Seto works that is often too rare. There was Arakawa and now Kato Kozo, Kagami Shukai and Hori Ichiro. I will leave words now and explain more about this tsubo in a few days---for those viewing it---enjoy. In perfect condition with a signed box, 30.6cm.tall and 26.0cm.across, signed on side.
