Two Oribe Tokkuri by Ikeda Shogo
One of the brightest young potters these days has to be Ikeda Shogo, please see a previous listing for a bit more about him. Yet with just one look at the brushwork here will surely explain why. Mt. Fuji with birds, trees, clouds, and various designs adore both of these Oribe tokkuri, as delightful to simply gaze upon as well as use for sake. Each in perfect condition, left is 11.8cm.tall(On Reserve), the right is 13cm.tall.
