Dating to 1989, this early Kako Katsumi work already shows his keen sense of design, glaze mastery and technique. The outer band is jet black matte glaze while the inner band shows a lighter black glaze inlaid with white arabesque-'K. Haring' patterns. In perfect condition with a signed box, 29cm.tallx27x11.4, stamped on base, 1989.
