Flowing bidoro natural ash-glaze, rich reddish-orange 'clay flavor' and koge burnt patches on the side are the defining characteristics of Iga pottey and they are all found on this stunning Igo tsubo-jar by veteran Iga potter Fujioka Shuhei(b.1947). In perfect condition with a signed box, 23.5cm.tallx21, side on side near base. Previews of other works gladly sent upon request.
