Wave-Wind Design Vase by Mihara Ken
Here is a rare circa 1991 wind-wave vase by Mihara Ken; the beige-gray five toned band scheme represent waves and the color of sand as the wind whips over it on a desert. This Mihara is very different from his current work and is a natural progression as he experimented with clays and firing, much in the vein of Kamoda. A rare early piece in perfect condition with a signed box, 24.1cm.tallx22.9x13.9, stamped on base, exhibition sticker still there as well.
