Gosu-Cobalt Blue Floral Design 'Vase' by Kawai Kanjiro
This is the second Kawai Kanjiro work we have from a private collection; a rich blue-gosu glazed jar with a lively multi-toned floral glazed design that dates to the 1950s. In perfect condition, 15.5cm.tallx19.1x11.1. There is no box, yet if one is desired Robert can sign it, or we can have the Kawai Museum in Kyoto sign a box, that would take about a month to take care of and also require a 50,000 yen fee that the museum charges. A retrospective Kawai exhibition is touring Japan now celebrating his birth 120 years ago.
