Two Small Kutani Vases by Tokuda Yasokichi III (Masahiko)
Here are two small Kutani vases made by the late Living National Treasure Tokuda Yasokichi III (1933-2009) when he was still using his birth name of Masahiko; he changed to his name to Yasokichi III in 1988 and thus these two pieces predate that. Each has an opaque dark purple body with varying shades of greens and blues. Each in perfect condition with signed boxes, the taller one is 15.5cm.tall x 12cm. and is Sold; the smaller one is 11.2cm.tallx10.5 and is Sold, both signed on the base, while the smaller one also has a stamp, Kutani Masahiko.
