Bizen Sake Flask-Tokkuri by Nakamura Makoto
Nakamura Makoto's sake vessels are legendary here in Japan. Along with his late father Rokuro and Makoto's son Kazuki now, the Nakamura family make some of Bizen's most outstanding sake vessels. This is a low square-rounded tokkuri that was fired a few weeks ago; the front has a warm autumn orange 'clay flavor' area surrounded by the ever-prized kase-goma; over time with use this tokkuri will change greatly in tone; make sure to rub sake all over it when in use! In perfect condition with a signed box, 9cm.tallx12, signed on base.
