Bizen 'Boat' Tokkuri-Vase by Mori Togaku
Here is a circa 1966 Bizen funa-dokkuri (boat flask-vase) whose form is based on 16th century much taller ones; this one is 22cm.tall. It has a ko-Bizen (Old Bizen) aura about it with a fine firing indeed; the 'clay flavor' and goma are superb. In perfect condition with a signed box, 11cm.wide at base, signed on base, EMS included.
