Bizen Platter by Konishi Tozo

Konishi Tozo(b.1947) is the current master of the Konishi Toko kiln, his grandfather founded the kiln in the 1940. Bizen platters are a wonderful 'kimono' for food and this Konishi has a contemporary form with a fine firing of goma and hidasuki streaks. In perfect condition, 4.7cm.tallx36.3x24, signed on base, no box. Konishi has been awarded the Kaneshige Toyo Prize as well as the Okayama Prefectural Cultural Award.
