Set of Five Bizen Plates by Kakurezaki Ryuichi
Here is a museum quality and rare set of 1992 Bizen plates by Kakurezaki Ryuichi(b.1950). They are from his Phalanx series and each rests on an elevated slab that slants each plate slightly; each has a very fine firing indeed. A statement for the table, each in perfect condition, 7.5cm.tallx22.5, signed on base and with a signed box, EMS included in the price. PS: I attended the opening of a major contemporary Tea exhibit in Tokyo yesterday (9/15) at the National Museum of Modern Art, Crafts Gallery and there was a Kakurezaki plate set there, this one is hands down far better.
