Wa-Ring by Kako Katsumi
Lao Tzu, ‘pots are made of clay, but the hollow space in them makes the essence of the pot.’ From the sixth century B.C. some truths never change. Kako Katsumi has created a very engaging wa-ring form as he continuously creates new and exciting work. What is framed by the empty space becomes part of the piece itself. A superb work, in perfect condition with a signed box, 53.cm.tall on wooden base (base itself is 11.5cm.tall)x41 diameterx11.4depth, signed on base. We also have three new taller forms and some small forms as well, preview photo seen of the tall trio.
