Pine-Bamboo-Plum Sencha Set by Ito Tozan II
Here is a lovely porcelain sencha set by Ito Tozan II(1871-1937). It has depicted in gosu-cobalt blue auspicious pines, bamboo and plums along with a bird. The set has five sencha cups, one tea pot-kyusu, and one bowl/katakuchi-like vessel called a yuzumashi which is used to cool hot water before putting it into the pot. A great collection for those into the Way of Sencha. In perfect condition with a signed box, stamped on base.
