Powerful brush strokes sweep across this Mashiko guinomi by the late great Murata Gen; this is a truly splendid Murata guinomi showing his solid forms, the above-mentioned iron underglaze brush markings, warm interior glazing and solid, confident kodai-foot. In perfect condition with a signed box, 5.4cm.tallx7.8, stamped on base.
