Cup
From a private collection in Kumamoto City, here is a rare and very nice set of five late Edo period(early 19th C. Bunka-Bunsei) Takatori soba-choko sake cups. On the lip of each is a rope design and the body has a light crackled olive glaze with impressionistic iron-underglazing. Each in perfect condition and about 6.5cm.tall, with an old box.
