Tokkuri
Kosobe pottery is one of the famous Tea Master Kobori Enshu's favored Seven Kilns of the middle-late Edo period; Kosobe was fired in a small village of the same name in Osaka. This tokkuri is on the large size--as was normal in those days--and has fluid calligraphy written on the sides; we are in the process of deciphering it, not many Japanese today can even read it! In perfect condition with an old box, 22cm.tallx19.7cm.
