Iga Chaire by Tsujimura Shiro
Tsujimura Shiro is one of only a few ceramic artists to have a solo exhibition at the Chado Shiryokan in Kyoto; a deep acknowledgment of his Tea utensil mastery. We've offered quite a few of Tsujimura's Tea utensils over the years, yet this is the first chaire-Tea caddy. It's in an Iga style and has varied 'landscapes' over the form of ash glaze and 'clay flavor.' On top is a bone lid with a burnt line added. In perfect condition with a signed box, 10.6cm.tall with lid on, signed on side.
