Flask / Mashiko / Shimaoka Tatsuzo
Here is a very 'cool' colored Mashiko henko-flattened sides tokkuri by Living National Treasure Shimaoka Tatsuzo. The glistening blue glaze makes the henko appear wet and the henko form is certainly one of the finest tokkuri shapes around, and no one does it as well as Shimaoka. In perfect condition with a signed box, 12.8cm.tallx9.5x8; stamped 'ta' on the 'bamboo node' strong foot.
