Chawan / Mashiko / Hamada Shoji
This is a very shibui ame-yu incised chawan by the legendary Hamada Shoji. The dark ame-caramel glaze is a perfect complimentary color for emerald-toned tea and the form is pure Hamada as well as the sturdy kodai-foot; overall a very fine museum quality Hamada chawan with the original signed box, in perfect condition, 9.5cm.tallx12.
