Bizen 'Turnip' Tokkuri by Harada Shuroku

A full ripe form is the first pleasant thing one notices about this Bizen kabura-turnip tokkuri-sake flask by Harada Shuroku. Then is the very cool firing that has a ying-yang contrast between deep red hidasduki lines-patches against the cream-fired clay and goma-sesame that graces one side. It was fired about 17 years ago and can also be used for a chabana flower arrangement. In perfect condition with a signed box,14cm.tallx15, signed box, signed on base.
