Two Shigaraki Chawan by Takahashi Kozo
Here are two graceful Shigaraki chawan by Takahashi Kozo; graceful in their very rounded-organic Koetsu form, their ko-buri small 'traveller's chawan' size, the applied tsuke-kodai-foot and also for their delicacy. The first offers a superb hi-iro 'fire-color' tone all the way around with a crinkled front. The other is a darker natural ash-glazed chawan with various tones of browns, greys and greens; the inside is a meditative cave that will shine with tea. Each in perfect condition with a signed box.
