Bizen ‘Bucket Vase by Koide Naoe

Koide Naoe we first met when he was an apprentice to Harada Shuroku, that lasted from 1997 to 2011 when he established his own kiln. He was born in 1978 (yet sadly passed in 2020) and has a deep affection for Bizen clay and creates works with rich firing much in the style of Harada. Here is a dynamic ‘bucket’ vase fired this year, it’s 27cm.tallx18.5cm.x11, signed on base with a signed box. We also have a few of his chawan(two seen here), yunomi, tokkuri, guinomi and a suribachi deep serving bowl, if interested to see photos please let us know.
