Iron Glazed Kanji Incised Jar by Shimizu Uichi

Shimizu Uichi (1926-2004) was designated a Living National Treasure in 1985 for his iron glazes. This is a classic Shimizu work with glittering metallic sheens, incised kanji for Wind(Kaze), Snow(Yuki) and Flower(Hana); these kanji shown also with his calligraphy on the signed box. In perfect condition, 23.4cm.tallx19, signed on base.
