Oribe Chawan by Yamaguchi Makoto

Yamaguchi Makoto (b. 1978) is a sixth-generation Seto ceramic artist who is facing the challenge of bringing his family’s tradition into the present; quite frankly he’s succeeding brilliantly with a large following here in Japan and not beginning to see that begin overseas as well. This Oribe chawan shows his brilliance and is 9cm.tallx12.5×14, perfect condition, signed on base, signed box.
